HR Representative
SUMMARY
The HR Representative will assist in labor relations and administrative HR functions such as: filing, disciplinary actions, letter writing, employee orientations and investigations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with recordkeeping related to hiring, terminations, employee’s documentation and leave licenses.
- Conducts initial interviews, analysis and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or others concerns.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, Affirmative Action, labor relation and human resources.
- Assist in the recruitment process if needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Psychology or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of Puerto Rico’s labor laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
